About Me

I have been a practicing professional photographer for over fifteen years.  I received my formal education and certification from Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2003. I moved to North Creek for a "summer job" with Whitewater Challengers which turned into a full-time love of the area.  I spent 14 summers next to the Hudson River photographing whitewater rafting.  From there I became part of the community and started photographing everything from weddings to events, senior portraits, and real estate.  My attention to detail and personal service are the cornerstones that have gained me an outstanding reputation.

I took my first photography class in high school.  I carried a cut out from the newspaper of Edward Weston's "Pepper No. 30".  It was my first experience diagnosing a simple black and white trying to figure out what it was.  I loved how simple the object was and yet the way it was lit made it appear to be something other than a green pepper.  I instantly fell in love with photography.

Some of my clients include American Orient Express, Whitewater Challengers, Banchi Outdoor, OvrRide, Upper Hudson Bluegrass Festival, Tannery Pond Community Center, and the Fund for Lake George.  My photographs have been shown in a number of one-person and group exhibits and have been published in a variety of publications including Ski Magazine, Photographer’s Forum Magazine, and Adirondack Sports and Fitness.
